The SHARE Committee makes allocation decisions for the District Designated Funds (DDF) available from The Rotary Foundation on an annual basis. The SHARE Committee will first determine the percentage of DDF to be allocated to District Grants versus Global Grants. The maximum percentage DDF allowed by TRF policy for District Grants is 50%.

The SHARE Committee, along with the Grants Committee Chair, reviews and determines awards for club District Grant applications. The result of this process becomes the annual District Spending Plan submitted to The Rotary Foundation for approval prior to release of District DDF for the year. The goal is to agree upon and submit the Spending Plan the first week of July each Rotary year.

The SHARE Committee shall consist of the District Rotary Foundation Chair (DRFC) who will serve as Chairman of the SHARE Committee, DG, DGE, DGN, club representatives from the three (3) highest per capita giving clubs for the past year and club representatives from the two (2) highest total giving clubs for the past year. Appointment is for a one-year term.
