District Conference 2011
June 3rd-5th at the The St. Petersburg TradeWinds Island Resorts on St. Pete Beach. Rotarians can register by click on the event in the District Calendar.
Make sure you have completed the following items if you are planning on attending:
- Register for the Conference on the DaCdb
- Add all guests that will be attending with you so we can get an accurate attendance and give you all name badges
- Select Plenary Sessions you will be attending (all free to attending)
- Select Meals you and Guests will be attending (prices and options are shown per meal)
- Mark the number of children you might be putting into the Children’s Program offered by the Tradewinds
- Call Tradewinds to book a room if you will be staying there during the conference. Please mention you are with Rotary District 6950 conference as your group code.

All Ticketed Events require advance registration through the DaCdb when you register for the conference. On May 31st the District must provide the hotel with an accurate attendance number for all of our Ticketed Events. If you have already registered and wish to add any of these to your registration, please contact District Secretary Brenda Wendt.

Luncheon with NASA Astronaut Nicole P. Stott

Nicole recently returned from the International Space Station aboard the final flight of Discovery, making her the last NASA Astronaut to ride a US Space Shuttle home. Nicole welcomes us aboard the space station with an up close and personal look at what living in space has taught her about living on earth. Q & A following presentation. Photo Opportunities.

Ramesh has delivered the presentation we are about to experience before the United Nations, Queen Elizabeth II, as well as gatherings of Rotarians and government leaders throughout the world. A Polio survivor, Ramesh cycled across Canada to raise awareness of the disease Rotarians have pledged to eradicate. His life, his courage, and his determination form a perspective on Polio and life that you will always remember.
